MPrint FoodBox is a flatbed edible printer for direct printing on confectionery products and other foods with suitable surfaces.
The 20 × 30 cm print area and maximum product height of up to 16 cm make it possible to print both on small products and on cakes and other larger confectionery items.
Automatic height adjustment with laser control simplifies print preparation. FoodBox uses CMYK edible inks and connects to a computer via USB.
Laser product height control
After the products are placed on the table, the system checks their height and minor surface variations, then automatically adjusts the table position before printing.
If a product exceeds the maximum permitted height of 16 cm, print preparation stops. The laser control also protects the printing unit from colliding with the product.
The rigid metal body and stable platform are designed for reliable product positioning. The printer should be installed on a flat, level surface, with a working area of at least 45 × 60 cm.
FoodBox uses four CMYK edible ink colours and an integrated continuous ink supply system (CISS). The Clean button can be used to start an additional ink purge during maintenance.
The table automatically moves between the loading, parking and printing positions. During preparation, the system synchronises table movement with the height check, and during printing with the printing process.
The Power, OK, Cancel, Clean, Load and Start/Stop buttons control power, the loading position, table preparation, cleaning and stopping the process. Do not move the table manually while the printer is switched on.

FoodBox is suitable for direct printing on gingerbread, cookies, macarons, chocolate, cakes and other products with suitable surfaces.
The FoodBox print area is 20 × 30 cm. The table can hold one large product or several smaller products.
The maximum product height is up to 16 cm.
The height is adjusted automatically. The laser system detects the product height, after which the table automatically moves into the correct working position before printing.
The permitted surface height variation is 5–7 mm.
